I love Hawaii and any kinda grinds from our favorite islands. This was our first food stop upon landing in Destin Florida and so glad we made it here. The pricing is unbeatable for the quality. I had the garlic chicken, teriyaki steak and teriyaki chicken with grilled mixed veggies and rice. The flavors reminded me of my time in Honolulu and want to go back again before we jet back to the DMV. Had a great experience at Pounders! I ordered the rice, pork, and mac salad. Everything was super flavorful and the portion size was just right. Addi was a huge help when I was deciding between the pork and steak. She also recommended pairing it with rice and the mac salad. I’m so glad I took Addi’s advice, it all hit the spot! She was super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back for seconds!
The food is always satisfying and even when it’s busy it comes out quickly. The management is very professional and courteous every single visit. You feel like part of the family and always get treated respectfully. The manager Junior is a very personable and friendly guy to talk to. Great place to regularly visit.
Excellent food. Very fresh. Great service. The only negative would be.How loud the music is in the dining area. It's hard to hold on a conversation. Other than that it was a great experience. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with cabbage and rice. We definitely have leftovers. The portion size is great and the price is reasonable for the amount of food that you get.
Everything was so delicious! I tried the kalua pig, teriyaki chicken and cabbage side. Even the rice was flavorful!

For such simple food you might wonder how good could they make it taste.......then you'll see. I don't even like pasta salad or rice but whatever flavors they put in these are so good. I don't live in F.L. any more so I may never get to eat here again but I still day dream about it. Open a Pounders in N.C. please!
Best Hawaiian grill in the entire northwest Florida area hands down! Never disappointed... so glad they’re opening a location near Fort Walton Beach!
